Tsunami Travel-Time EnhancementsJune 24, 2020
Tsunami travel-time map products have been enhanced in DisasterAWARE. Maps now include DART Buoys for Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis. In addition, contour lines that depict tsunami travel times have been enhanced for greater clarity.

COVERAGE FOR MANUALLY-PROCESSED HAZARDS
Real-time tsunami hazard data is not available for all locations. However, hazard information is entered manually and tsunami travel-time map products are automaticallygenerated once a hazard is created for the following areas:
- The Indian Ocean

Click the SmartAlert icon on the left toolbar, then the Assets link and follow the prompts to upload and track your assets.
Click the Media icon on the left toolbar to search news by keyword, or click a hot spot on the map to get news stories covering major events happening around the world.
Click the SmartAlert icon to easily set alert severity rules for multiple types of hazards and geographic locations. Get alerts by email or text message as soon as a hazard poses a threat.
Data Uploads and Sharing
Click the Layers icon on the left toolbar and the Edit link to Add Layers. You can import a KML file to add a layer to your private account or share it publicly using the bookmark feature. To turn on the layer you’ve imported, click the Layers icon and scroll down to the User Layers folder.
Map Service Integration
Click the Layers icon on the left toolbar, then the Edit link to Add Layers. You can import data layers from an external map service by clicking the URL link. To turn on the layer you’ve imported, click the Layers icon and scroll down to the User Layers folder. Also, bookmark and share your layers.
